I've somehow made ten of these things, so to celebrate, I made a show about a genre of music which influenced me a lot when I was growing up, that being "real screamo", the noisy, raw, and passionate music of youth and nostalgia. Bungle", " Freebird" and "Go back to Japan", showing how unknown they were at that time. Melt-Banana have said in interviews how the audience would scream "We want to see Mr. Bungle helped establish Melt-Banana as one of the leading new Japanese punk rock bands. The album was recorded in July–August 1995 by Jim O'Rourke and produced by Steve Albini. This time they are putting it back out on CD (newly redesigned) and have now also made it available on Bandcamp.
The songs have all been previously released, but it has been unavailable in any physical format for years and years. LP versions of this album were limited to 2,600 copies, housed in rubber packaging with a poster lyric sheet and a special Melt-Banana temporary tattoo.
